- Separate applications for financial aid are required for each academic year that a student wishes to be considered for a Federal Work-Study (FWS) award. These forms are available in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Programs
- Students may work in more than one department at a time.
- Students are allowed only one off-campus FWS position. All other off-campus employment must be non-FWS.
- All job opportunities for FWS and non-FWS positions are located on the Job Openings web page.
- Graduate/teaching assistantships and Resident Advisorships are not administered by HRSES.
- FWS students cannot work more than 8 hours per day, or 40 hours per seven day week.
- It is the employer's and student's responsibility to ensure that the FWS award limit is not exceeded.
